The MC20 is almost ready. A model discovered in the Rebel fleet by EC Henry www.artstation.com/echenry It can be considered a unit from the Rebel Alliance. In the FOC Alliance, it can be builded with the Rebel Alliance or the Resistance. The same happens with the Onager or the Starhawk, they are ships shared between eras. The Resistance and First Order are subfactions or if you prefer it, time eras.  The size from the ship is smaller than a MC40 and close to one MC30. Its role is a escort ship with anti-fighter weapons and turbolasers.

This is awesome. EC Henry makes beautiful models, so I'm happy to see one of his be made by you for EAW, and put into the mod. Hope we see more work of his work in your mod like other obscure Rebel ships, or his armored Imperial Nebulon ship. Thank you for your hard work.

This is awesome. EC Henry makes beautiful models, so I'm happy to see one of his be made by you for EAW, and put into the mod. Hope we see more work of his work in your mod like other obscure Rebel ships, or his armored Imperial Nebulon ship. Thank you for your hard work. Can be but as always, I do not go to say how I go to make anything which I have not made giving you false hopes. It is not my style.

Because there are many troubles removing heroes between eras, I am thinking to make all heroes generic in the Insurrection GC. I would save a lot of time with it and many headaches.

How do the TR or NJO mods do era change with heroes also being removed or added? Is it not possible using a system similar to theirs for your mod? Not exactly the same of course, but with your own unique work.

I'm not too sure since I've only played TR a few times, but I see some EAW YouTubers who play it all the time. Even talking to the developers, and apparently the system they have is really stable now.

It adds a 10% as maximun from the content inside my mod. I prefer do not make comparations. If you want speak about the TR mod. Go to their forums, not here. I have not anything against it. Just it is the place from the FOC Alliance and my other mods.
The FOC Alliance adds more of 1000 different units and even with these numbers, it is very stable. About code. Speaking from XML code, I have not anything which you can find inside other mod from EAW. From Lua script, the TR mod is more advanced than other mod, just because most of the code was made by Smallpox, a great coder. At comparation, I have made most of all in my mod by myself. Code, models, maps, and more.
At the same time, the FOC Alliance is probably the second mod from EAW speaking of code, lua and xml. The first is as I said the TR, thanks to Smallpox. But he does not work for my mod. Just I have used somethings from him as the code spawning ships at different heights.

Yeah, I understand what you're saying and would like to clarify that I'm not making comparisons between the mods. Like I said, I've only played TR a few times and only know about it mainly through popular EAW youtube channels. It's a shame that these channels don't play mods like yours and others that deserve more attention. They mainly play TR, Awakening of the Rebellion, and Remake. I much prefer your mod, and would love to see it get more promotion.
What I was saying though, is that perhaps the era progression system from TR with the heroes changing in adding new ones and removing the old ones could be used. Perhaps getting the permission of Smallpox, if he's still around, to use his code for the era progression system. Of course, it wouldn't be a direct copy, but with your own unique modifications to fit your mod. Something like that is what I was suggesting, but I'll understand if it's not possible.

These other mods have a point, there are many people playing this game with poor computers and because they are more similar at requeriments to the original game. They have more acceptation between players. I can see it. At the same time, my mod has a learning curve bigger and the difficulty is higher, more for advanced players than rookies because it is a mod thought to be played more time, not just few weeks. About the TR era progression system, it is very similar to my system, specially my campaign which I published years ago. But I do not like their progression system for the heroes. Please check what there are inside my mod before say how the code is different when it is not. Just it makes different things. But it is just the same XML, the same from the original game.

These are some of the last things made with the mod. I have improved the changes of heroes and I am testing it very fast. Even I have been thinking one thing, some people do not like the remove from heroes with the past away from a era. I have been thinking to give a reward. Perhaps.....you can lose the heroe but you receive the ship. Other thing, somebody published a link to some news where Corey said how they discovered some about improved performance inside the galactic mode, I am trying the same change and testing. I am not too positive with this because comparations are bad, his mod has a 10% from my the stuff added in my mod. The problems in other mod can not be the same here. Thinking and improved the galaxy image background.  Improved slowly some space maps. This is Ryloth.    Narshadda.  Denon.  Some people told me sometime ago because I did not use the shaders from planets in other mods as TR or RE. Here the point, my planet textures are detailed, they are not mosaics and they would not look good from the same way. About the shaders, the planet shaders seen in these mods, they increase the brightness and they are good with some mosaics textures without too many detail but they look bad with the textures inside my mod from Nawrocki which they have cities painted, lights and a lot of detail. Do not confuse, the shaders and textures from these mods look perfect running with the things which they were created. Other point, the 99% from the screenshots published from the RE mod were made with reshade activated with a special mode, it looks beautiful but you can not play with it really, it is just for the screenshots.
