I was improving this unit with turrets and after I saw the addition from Nawrocki in the texture, I remembered the Corvus Raider turrets and I have added four big similar turrets for it.

I have not started it yet, I have not a single complete image about it. But it can not be very difficult looking this image. The differences with a normal ISD are few and mostly cosmetic. But if anybody buy a Star Wars guide with it inside a bit more detailed, he will be welcome from share here the images. Anyway, it is in my list of future additions. Before I want add some turrets to the other FO units. The Xyston Star Destroyer is kinda wierd to be honest. It's like either a skinny Allegienance Star Destroyer or resized ISD I with a superlaser. I do think it could have been implemented better but it does feel that it is an evolution of superlaser ships. I just wish they would have had other ships with superlasers before introducing this one. The new Disney Canon has a lack of them, so this ship and superweapon does not have an evolution compared to the Death Star - Death Star II - Starkiller Base.

I have been thinking the addition (even I tested it) from turrets in the left and right side from more ships as the Imperial Star Destroyer but it is a very bad idea because they should be smaller than in other ships and even with the closer zoom, nobody would difference them from a normal hardpoint. And now the last addition is the Kuat Defender and Nebula SDs MKII with turrets. Both very powerful. One very good thing because they were too weak from this type of expensive and advanced units. Other change is darker turrets for the Knighthammer.

I was reading the pages about the Xyston Star Destroyer in the guide and........lenght 2405 meters? where? it does not look as bigger than normal ISD. This details are bullshit. The scale from everything in the ship is the same.......if you compare with one ISD from Rogue One, you will discover how there are not any difference. I do not go to use 2405 for a thing exactly equal....

After looking at both the Xyston and the Resurgent Class Star Destroyers there about the same size well i watch the movie so yeah its a Battlecruiser in size. But maybe you should just make an Upgrade for the ISD 3 because of the design of the ship.

The comparation between the Resurgent and the Xyston can not be made because the Resurgent is in a different height. Just compare the image from a Imperial Star Destroyer with another, the distances from the hull, from the main hangar where they added the main gun to the front of the ship are very similar. If it would be different, bigger, something would look different but even the engines look equal.

This is the only walker that comes out in the movie, and only in the background. It seems to somewhat based on the AT-AP with its three legs. Here is a link to the Wookieepedia page. starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Urban_Assault_Triped_TransportI was reading the pages about the Xyston Star Destroyer in the guide and........lenght 2405 meters? where? it does not look as bigger than normal ISD. As it says in the book, they're supposed to be a tribute and look like ISD Is, but just basically "scaled" up in size, which doesn't make much sense. They should have made them look more like the Allegiance Star Destroyer.

Oh very beautiful. I can imagine me making it one day. In the Episode VII, there was another small walker. But the images about it were worse and it was more ugly. But everything is posible. Lately, I was making this. If you took a look, you will see how I have removed some bad details from the Defender and Nebula MKI in the hull. They had some never added turrets painted in the wings. After I have made these Rebel units. I have seen how the ISD can be a bit weak in comparation and I have testing some type of weapon upgrades. Before I tried adding turrets in the left/right sides but the model is not too big and these turrets should be very small, at the end, it did not look very well. Next I took a look in the model from Fractalsponge from the ISD2 and it added several turrets over the hull, they were a better option for a model like this, even probably I can improve it a bit more with other things. Clearly the Xyston Star Destroyer copied some of the detail from the ISD2 made by Fractalsponge, at least I have not see these turrets in the front in other places. Perhaps I am wrong. But it would not be a surprise.

In this video, you can see how I added the frontal turrets to the ISD MKI and to the MKII but the normal versions will not add these turrets. These can be a feature reserved for some heroe and for the MKIII. Fractalsponge added it in the ISD2 from him and clearly it was copied in the Sith Destroyer but for me, it is the biggest advanced feature from the Fractalsponge design. Now I was thinking what more I can add. The model from the ISD is difficult because it is one of the few ships represented in the original sources and it does not accept very well the new additions. In all the other units, I can make a lot of improves and nobody will see any bad but here..... Other option could be replace the model. The model from the Battlefront 2 game adds a lot of detail more but it is useless, it is detail in the sides adding a lot of bad polygons inside the model and it would be bad, very bad. In fact, the model from the mod is a mix with the last Evillejedi model and it had more detail in model but I removed it by a request from Nawrocki because it adds problems in textures. At the end, the model now is very good with the textures added and the unique problem here is how the turrets in sides from the ISD in films were too small or very hidden. Have fun.

Good news and bad news. First the bad. There are some problems from the scale from some ships and I can not fix them in five seconds. The good news will be how I will be fixing everything and very probably I will rescale everything. It will be a lot of time but there are not fast solutions.

False alarm, I could fix the problems. Now you will note in the next update which I will upload tomorrow as it was planned before by me (even if I never give dates ) how some SSD are bigger. With exception than the Sovereign which it is a bit smaller. The MC104, MC108 and MC112 are now bigger. Same for the Executor type. And the next update will add the changes in the ISD MKI, MKII and MKIII. I do not know if I will be able to add them in all the other variants from the ISD, there are many and it can take some of time.

The live is full of surprises. The Imperial Star Destroyer, the most followed ship by fans, it is the less descripted thing in the world. The unique good source that I have found, it is probably the film Rogue One. The image from the ISD leaving the dark side from the DS1 has not price. It is one of the reasons because Rogue One is probably the best film from the last years. It is epic.
