Because I do not like too much BF games....the same than you tell can be made in the Total War GC. At the sametime as I have said in other threads, I am working in a new GC by stages and I am not interested in work in other GC. A GC takes a lot of time.

Well it can be made in Total War if you're playing as the Empire or Rebellion, but when you're playing as the CIS/Republic you can't choose what factions will or will not be activated

The additional factions do not work with scripts and by this reason, they can not use many features.

I feel that the clone wars GC maps seem to be kind of empty. There's just a lot of neutral planets during the start that makes the first 1/3rd of the game simply you and the ai taking over the neutral planets. It would be much more fun if the map was more filled up so the action could begin more immediately. Plus I feel like Kuat especially should be on the side of the Republic at the beginning (instead of neutral) since the CIS can easily get them at the start, which seems pretty lore breaking to me.

In a GC with more planets for each side you will lose all the strategy from to manage each empire. All your games will be equal and you will lose a lot of hours playing. I knew because in the past the GC was different and it was changed specially by the player opinions. Random is the key word from a GC with more neutral planets. You can conquer all the planets that you want and to start to manage them from scratch. The amount of time reinforcing them will be additional hours playing and it will be translated at more fun. At the same time, if the IA gets more planets in the beginning.....your chances of survive would be few or nothing.

However than why does the Grand Campaign GC seem a little more filled in?

It is because the campaign could be made with scripts. The additional factions can not use scripts. Just it. With scripts, I can open, close, launch, create new things inside the GC. Things which I can not make with factions as the CIS, Republic or Legacy factions. Perhaps now you understand more because I have made the changes in the mod and the Insurrection GC.

Suggestion -
Make a GC that has the main planets where you can build all the units. I noticed there is alot of lag when I play this

I made a small update yesterday improving performance. But you must difference two things. First always there will be a bit of lag. When more planets, more lag.
The last update comes to let to play the Insurrection GC.

I have a few suggestions, but first I would like to say how I noticed that the turret on the TIE Aggressor doesn't seem to have movement or fire at all. I also saw that the Wombat Frigate is missing from the Tycon station in Skirmish mode. As for the suggestions: I really like how you made the Mandator III, a ship no one had ever really seen before. I also like how you connected it to the Mandator IV with the artillery platforms. However, the two artillery turrets on the side of the ship looks a bit off, so my suggestion is to mount them similar to how battleship cannons are. Also, perhaps consider making both turrets with two barrels to make it seem more like it's influenced by Earth ships.
Excuse the poorly done turrets, but something like this. Another thing is how some units that build more units during skirmish mode cannot use their abilities. This isn't a problem for some units like the Research Ship that builds experimental TIEs, but for others it is an issue. For example, the World Devastator cannot use its abilities because the build menu is blocked by the TIE Droid, not letting you access its superweapon or its interdiction field. Could some of those units be placed instead in the bonus space stations like the Fighter Space Station? Otherwise, the World Devestator is quite useless when you have other super weapons in battle because even the "big red button to fire the super weapon" no longer works on it. There are some other units that also have this problem like the Arc Hammer and so on, but the World Devastator is the biggest one.

I will check some of these things. But I have not intention from make changes in the Mandator III. It is the Star Wars universe. But making comparations, the ship has many other turrets to the right and the left. Why are not all them set in the central line as a old battlecruiser from the Earth? At the end, the Mandator III is my idea, my design, what I like more.

Thank you for the response and taking into consideration some of the things I mentioned, especially the problems.
That's certainly true how the ship has many turrets to the sides, but that's a common feature in Earth ships too. For instance, the ship I posted is the Bismarck from Germany and you can see smaller caliber turrets and AA turrets on the sides. However, the big caliber main guns are typically placed like the picture I posted and what I was suggesting for the Mandator III. Many ships in Star Wars are influenced by real life after all, like the bridge in Star Destroyers looking like they came out of a WW2 Battleship.
In the end, it is your design ultimately the decision is made by you. I do hope at least you can consider making both turrets have twin-barrels though.

You are ignoring a big, very big point. The real battleships, they have their guns over a plain deck but the ships in Star Wars, most of them, they have not a plain deck, they have a 35º (hypotetic angle) angle to the left and right. Why? because the weapons from one side can not be targeted from the other side probably. I have not intention from change anything in the Mandator III. My idea and my design. It is as I have thought it and I like it. Considerer any change motivated by personal tastes which it is not a improve, it would be the same than say how my work was bad when it is not bad, it works ans it is so correct as others. If you want promote the change, you can start making a paypal donation. In my web site, you can find the paypal link firefoxccmods.com/

Any plans to put more FractalSponge ships or designs in (Vigil, Kontos, the bigger ones or the hover tanks)?
Can’t wait to test the new GCs when they’re finished!
